Fit is everything. Without the right fit, the best candidate or the best role can be mismatched and highly ineffective. Most think of fit as just cultural fit, but that is just the beginning. I believe past behavior can impact future performance. However, that is only part of the complex equation. Every situation, team dynamic, company culture, management team, company structure, and decision making dynamic has different nuances.
